About me
Born and raised in the UK, but made in Australia. My photography journey started whilst travelling up the east coast of Australia where stunning landscape and fascinating wildlife were plentiful. What started as a travel hobby quickly snowballed into a lifelong passion and I have since branched out into the professional realm.
Eventually arriving in Cairns, far north Queensland, I wasn’t optimistic I’d enjoy the wet season having left the UK to escape gloomy wet weather. But my perspective shifted as I experienced the rainforest bursting to life with incredible biodiversity during those months. This unique environment left a lasting impression and deepened my appreciation for nature’s complexity.
Beyond photography, my primary occupation is in conservation. I currently work on habitat management for reptiles and amphibians around the weald.
